Finnish Meteorological Institute

The Finnish Meteorological Institute, FMI, coordinates the development of Field Observatory and is responsible for research at the intensive study sites, the use of the satellite data, and modelling of carbon sequestration and climate impacts. Read more

The Finnish Environment Institute SYKE is a multidisciplinary research and expert institute dealing with questions in society that affect the environment. In Field Observatory, SYKE is responsible for the on-site monitoring of the field experiments on the pilot Carbon Action farms. Read more

Baltic Sea Action Group

Baltic Sea Action Group, BSAG, works to restore the ecological balance of the Baltic Sea. BSAG is the initiator and coordinator of the Carbon Action work. BSAG leads the interaction and communication and is especially responsible for the farmer co-design and the collaboration with companies. Read more

HAMK Smart Research Unit at Häme University of Applied Sciences focuses on advancing digital services and applications across sectors. In Field Observatory, HAMK Smart is responsible for the implementation of the back-end services and the user interface. Read more
